Dennis Appiah Larbi earns My Respect -Aki-Ola, The Whistle Blower

The NUGS president, Dennis Appiah Larbi has been acknowledged and respected by Aki-Ola Aziz, the first Special of the University of Ghana concerning his swift and divine intervention in dealing with matters of student concern. His courage in targetting the reduction in fees of students and the quest for accommodation for students. Dennis, irrespective of his political affiliation has been able to confront key personalities who have a say in the administration of the NPP, yet meet the key stakeholders, the likes of the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum. He is among the few student leaders who think about the interests and welfare of students.

Fights Over UGSRC Appointment By Political God-Fathers Unnecessary

The current fights in the UGSRC appointment are unwarranted and of no merit as p,olitical God-Fathers in TESCON tzurn to backbite one another and lobby for the positions for their young boys. It has been made known that an immediate past TESCON President and once SRC President are at loggerheads as to who gets what. The Vice president of the UGSRC is seen more often than the UGSRC President on Campus. Students argued that the Vice President deferred his course twice to become the SRC president and had been a resident student of Vandal and Viking. It is rather unfortunate that the SRC could not plead with management to tamper justice with mercy or rescind their decision on CommonWealth and Mensah Sarbah brouhaha with management. Enough Of The Funfairs

It has become noticeable that the Tsikata-Zanyoh-led  UGSRC is more of a funfair without recourse to their policies tabled during the run-up to the SRC Campaign the previous year.  We have, and continue to witness only seminars and entertainment programs setting aside cutting-edge programs and projects that would contribute to the development needs of students. Most importantly, breaking away from their policy focus and direction.
