UGSRC: TREASURER RACE BECOMES TOUGH AS ASPIRANTS TIE KNOT

This year's UGSRC Treasurer position is the face of the UGSRC elections. The postion is keenly contested by Edward Owusu Boateng popularly known as Gadaffi and Michael Kuti famously called IMF. The race is a heated one of a kind within a decade. Few minutes before Kuti was leading Boateng, however the latter has regain votes to catch up with the former. Per polls conducted by Radio Univers on twitter and links for voting shared on various social media platforms, the votes of the two candidates have broken even, with both candidates securing 50%. The Whistleblower360 is monitoring the electioneering processes and will update members of the university community on latest development

Dennis Appiah Larbi earns My Respect -Aki-Ola, The Whistle Blower

The NUGS president, Dennis Appiah Larbi has been acknowledged and respected by Aki-Ola Aziz, the first Special of the University of Ghana concerning his swift and divine intervention in dealing with matters of student concern. His courage in targetting the reduction in fees of students and the quest for accommodation for students. Dennis, irrespective of his political affiliation has been able to confront key personalities who have a say in the administration of the NPP, yet meet the key stakeholders, the likes of the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum. He is among the few student leaders who think about the interests and welfare of students.
