UG-SRC Skill-Up For Jobs Boot Camp A Mere Jamboree

Todays' publication of Skill-Up for Jobs initiative was nothing more than a sharade purpoted to divert attention from the recent increment of fees by the management of the University of Ghana, and clarion calls by concerned students of the university asking the leadership of the Students' Representative Council to intervene and intercede on their behalf. The dumbfounding actions of the Tsikata-Zanyoh led SRC Administration must be treated with the contempt it deserves. Upon their assumption to office, they have never championed the welfare of students;neither have they been able to negotiate for a reduction in fees for students nor advocate for an initiative to augment or support accomodation deficit confronting students every semester. The Akan adage yhat states that 'y3y3 dea 3fata ansana yay3 dea ehia'. To wit, "we do what isof necessity before we do what is of luxury" What they are only notorious of is side attractions i.e,jams, photoshoots. And they are flierholics intending to use posters as a tool of deceptive to lure students into believing that they are up to task, but, absolutely doing nothing. It is quite nauseating, insulting and disheartening to witnessing no response by the SRC Executives concerning the Ghc100 online teaching support charges and fees. Petitions to the SRC by student activists seeking clarity on the medical examination fees has been neglected and rejected by the SRC, with no officialcorrespondence. If this is leadership theypromised to dwliver and policies to execute, then a primary one pupil willbe able to lead the UGSRC, I beg to differ. The Tsikata-Zanyoh Administration is an inditement on student leadership, with a display of crass incompetence and financial mismanagement, misapplication, embezzlement and mismanagement of students' fund The 4.6k plus charged on SRC dues for the first academic calendar has been misapplied, misallocted, misappopriated, embezzled. Corruption is staring at their faces as crystal as misfortune. The dear students of the of Ghana is asking you to intervene on their behalf for the scrapping of the illicit Ghc 100 cedis online support fee and a reduction in the Ghc 500 medical examination fee and the entire absolving and scrappo of Ghc 260 additional cost on same.

UGSRC: TREASURER RACE BECOMES TOUGH AS ASPIRANTS TIE KNOT

This year's UGSRC Treasurer position is the face of the UGSRC elections. The postion is keenly contested by Edward Owusu Boateng popularly known as Gadaffi and Michael Kuti famously called IMF. The race is a heated one of a kind within a decade. Few minutes before Kuti was leading Boateng, however the latter has regain votes to catch up with the former. Per polls conducted by Radio Univers on twitter and links for voting shared on various social media platforms, the votes of the two candidates have broken even, with both candidates securing 50%. The Whistleblower360 is monitoring the electioneering processes and will update members of the university community on latest development

Agyemang Livingston for Deputy Minority Leader for UGPH

AGYEMAN LIVINGSTONE SCOTT(POLITICAL ANIMAL) FOR DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER🇬🇭🇬🇭*🔥🔥*🔥 PART 1 I am bringing new ideas on board. This is not the usual Air-filled speeches that characterize an electioneering period. In this stage of our democratic progression, elections strengthen our believe in a system that believes in the representation of people. A more efficient representational democracy. I am not representing just a caucus but I am representing our collective ideas and actions that will propel the caucus to become the most vibrant caucus across student parliamentary leadership. 1. I together with the leader will make the Minority Caucus the most intellectual hub in UGPH. 2. I together with the leader will create a bigger platform to welcome our criticisms, ideas and suggestions. 3. I together with the leader with chart a path of progress as far the welfare of the Minority Caucus is concerned. 3. I together with the Leader will create a platform to assist any individual w...

Stephanie Naadu's 100 Days In Office Is A Failure

Ag. University of Ghana Students' Representative Council Presid8ent, Stephanie Naadu's appointment is more of a ceremonial orientation than an administrative orientation. She was elected by the student populace as a general secretary to take records of the UGSRC and write minutes among other things. However, owing to the impasse between the two substantive UGSRC presidential candidates at the Court of Appeal, she was appointed by the school management to spearhead, supervise and steer the affairs of students within the Union Building. It is quite unfortunate for the declared winner and plaintiff, Prince Asumadu who sought redress at the Accra High Court to be sworn in as the duly elected president, which went in his favour. The respondent, the previous Chief Justice had sought for appeal at the Court of Appeal to overturn the ruling of the high court to install Samuel Amos Ofosu as the validly elected president. Stephanie Naadu has been fortunate and she needs to take advantage...

In the late hours of Saturday,27th August 2022 at 11.30pm vetting of UGSRC hopefuls were vetted. Vetting of candidates commenced from the treasurer portforlio through to Secretary to the presidential. Edward was the First candidate to pass through the vetting followed by Michael Kuti a.k.a IMF. Then proceeded to the general secretary portfolio with Emmanuella Boakyewa with much precision, Vida Minta with over confidence, Ernestona Mahama walked in gorgeously and modestly with much enthusiasm. Diana Ohene Berma storming in with a music Box playing Diana ooo Diana ooo who sat for barely 10 mins less than her contenders. Beauty who was supposed to have been the last, we were told had written to the vetting panel to recuse herself from the vetting. The presidential race saw Noah and Ambrose being first on the list, then Lincoln and Boakye, followed by Ackom and Ramzy, proceded by Curtis and Linda, and ended with Graham and Paa Kwesi. The results should have witnessed Ackom - Ramzy and Noah-...
