VC Commences One Student One Laptop Policy @Cedi Conference Centre Today

The Vice Chancellor of the Premier University in the nation has fulfilled her promise of the 1Student 1Laptop policy popularly known as the 1L1S Policy, as part of her wish to provide students who cannot afford one or are unable to purchase one for their studies. The VC had vowed in the previous year to fulfil this promise. Today marks the commencement of the project, and hundreds of laptops will be distributed to students who had demonstrated that they need that electronic gadget for academic and research purposes Students, with the inclusion of awardees, will assemble at the Cedi Conference today, Thursday,25th August 2022 for the occasion10:00AM. All students are invited.

The 24 Hour Economy Proposed by Mahama; NPP's Headache

The much talk-about proposed policy initiative, the 24 hour economy is the order of the day, and it looks as if is a headache for the rulling New Patriotic party and governemnt. This year's UGSRC Treasurer position is the face of the UGSRC elections. The postion is keenly contested by Edward Owusu Boateng popularly known as Gadaffi and Michael Kuti famously called IMF. Yabr3 Mo Demonstration, Concerned Students of the University of Ghana agitate for hostels

The Concerned students of the University of Ghana 🇬🇭 have launched a demonstration dubbed Yabr3 Mo Demo also known as Mask Up Demo is taking place at the outskirt of the Premier University. Prominent student leaders and politicians have thrown their support behind the students under question who have fallen a victim to the inadequacy or sufficiency of halls of residents or hostels to stay in. 67 Years Of Independence: The State Of Ghana's Economy

It is quite imperative to note that after 67 years of independence from the shackles of colonial rule, the state of Ghana's economy has been tattered beyond repair.  Seven at the International Monetary Fund for financial stability and the World Bank for budget support. One may question the country's membership to the IMF and the WB so entitled to the loans, grants, and aid from the Bretton Woods Institution. The issue about that is the indiscriminate application from the Fund and the Bank since the attainment of independence and statehood.
