Dissolve-Seven-Member-Committee; It Is Unconstitutional ~ Students Of The Premier University Tell Dean Of Student Affairs

Students of the Nation's Premier University, University of Ghana are calling for the immediate dissolution of the~7~member~committee established by the Dean of Students Affairs, Professor Godfred Alufa Bokpin, of which they believe its emergence is in contravention with the constitution of the Students' Representative Council.
According to them, the dean has no audacity to establish the committee.
The four elected bodies of the SRC; the President and his Vice, the Secretary and the Treasure had petitioned the office of Pro-Vice-Chancellor and copied the office of the Vice-Chancellor to summon and order the dean to dissolve the said committee which is of no legal effect and in conflict with the SRC's constitution.
It is on the grounds of article 31 of the SRC constitution that the students are calling for the quashing of the committee.

Article 31. Challenging elections

within forty-eight hours after the declaration of the
results; which rules shall be precedent for such
effect to articles 29 and 30 of this Constitution,

with any provision of this Constitution.
It is for this reason why the four elected representatives, His Excellency Prince Asumadu, His Excellency Wisdom Ndukwe, Honourable Stephanie Naadu and Honourable Daniel Obeng Asamoah had petitioned the office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor and copied the Vice-Chancellor's office.
Consequently, students anticipate nothing more than shoddy work by the said committee. As one of the campaign team members for Asumadu, Raman had told a colleague that there was no member from the Faculty of Law and Political Science Department on the committee as the matter borders on politics and law.

Below is the document showing the persons constituting the committee.

UGSRC PREZ WITHDRAWS INTENTION TO CHALLENGE UGBS ELECTION RESULTS

The UGSRC President,Frank Tsikata had hinted earlier to challenge the elections results of the University of Ghana Business School, that saw the victory of Francis and the defeat of his darling boy,Nunya. Intel gathered by the whistleblower360 was that the SRC President gathered momentum to challenge the election conducted by UGCS as being fraught with various forms irregularities and malpractices. After a sober reflection of the euphoria surrounding his election as president, and his encounter with Boakye, the immediate UGSRC President who challenged the results of the previous election which saw the victory of Tsikata as rigged. He was reminded of how Boakye was querried about not having confidence in a system that brought him to office, and wanted to put it to a litmus test. In the same vein he would have challenged the outcome of the Business school elections. But for previous interventions made him scary of taking such steps, and he believes it would make him unpopular.
