DISGRUNTLED UGSRC EC CHAIR APOLOGIZES FOR WRONGDOING

Source:Univers The embattled and stepped aside Chairperson of the UGSRC Electoral Commission has registered his unqualified apology to the office of the Dean of Students' Affairs and the other mambers of the University Community for his untenable behaviour towards the Dean and the entire populace of the university, following his leaked tape. His miscalculated and unguided correspondence to the Dean escalated tensions, amidsts his recent communication with UGSRC Presidential Aspirants on a possible pair between aspirants. The Whistle Blower had cited a letter of apology dated August 6th, 2024 to the office of the Dean of Students' Affairs, rending an unreserved apology to her and the general university community. The letter comes as refreshing moment to critics of the EC who had grilled him for his actions and inactions relating to the 2024 UGSRC Elections. The letter portrays that Mr.Ibn Ibrahim Mudasdir had shown remorse for walking over on the dean, and his admission of engaging in a needless convo with Manuel Life, SRC hopeful on his so called 'brotherly advice' to accept to pair with Affottey, another SRC aspirant. The EC Chair went further by indicating that he intervened in the merging of Nii Affottey and Abigail Ohenewa. Aki-Ola Aziz and Raman Yussif is urging the EC Chair to admonish the fact that he erred in his direct engagement with Emmanuel Amponsah and his walk over the Dean. They were of the convictions that the EC chair would apologise and resign honourably from the office he is holding amid the compellation from students for him to resign from the position he holds as EC Chair. They had intimated that there is no substantial role for the EC Chair as he had stepped aside for vetting to commence other than watching screen on elections day, since he would not be the one to design the software or operate the giant screens and systems on the electioneering day. 'Having asked to step aside, there is no important role for the EC Chair to operate than to watch screens', Aki-ola Aziz emphasized during his encounter with Raman Yussif on Radio Univers. _Press Release_ _*Educate Africa Institute; EAI*_ 10th October, 2022. *The NCA must take proactive measures because some media outlets continue to air unethical and unlawful programs on their shows. - S.K OFORI; EAI Political Analyst* The eleven-year-old boy's death in Kasoa, where his pals planned to sacrifice him for money rituals, was the catalyst for the national media commission's and national communication authority decision to sanitize the media community, which took place just one and a half years earlier. The NCA's decision to revoke the licenses of media outlets transmitting unethical programs was praised by many. It seems, however, that the NCA took such steps in response to the death of the eleven-year-old child who was murdered by his peers under the influence of a mallam. The media outlets whose licenses were eventually restored after negotiations with the national communications authority. After the NCA restoring the license of the affected media outlets, so...
