You Spoke Out Of Sheer Arrogance & Ignorance Abigail Elorm Akwambia

The Indefatigable Deputy National Women Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Abigail Elorm Akwambia, with the prospect of forming government in 2025 has taken a swipe, slam and call on the bluff of the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East,Hawa Koomson who happens to be the then Minister for Special Initiative and the incumbent minister for Fishries and Acqua-Culture. In the presser the Deputy Women Organiser admitted that this has been the routine behaviour of Hawa Koomson and his NPP apparatchiks; only adds up to his earlier unsavoury remarks about the youth and netizens, and addressed her as dishonourable Member of Parliament. She lamented that the dishourable MP should have admonish the plight of the ordinary Ghanaian, that was least expected of her. She also consoled the teeming unemployed youth to acknowledge the 24 hour economy proposed by John Mahama and the NDC and urged them to be calm as the next NDC government will seek their interest and ddress their needs. She expressed hope in the 34 Hour Economy, The Big Push Agenda champion as infrastructural and industrialization drive and motive. Below is the portion of the statement communicated in the press release: As a Woman, Wife and most importantly a mother, one would have thought she will understand the plight of these young Ghanaians who are frustrated and suffering under this cruel administration which she is part of but as usually of them, the ordinary Ghanaian doesn’t matter. This statement I believe is very insensitive coming from a woman and born out of sheer arrogance; particularly so from a government and its assigns that literally begged Ghanaians to try them in 2016 and further hoodwinked them in 2020 under the deception of COVID-19 adversities and promised to support their rent payment. The least such a government and its appointees can do is to be sensitive to the plight of ordinary voters and work towards improving living conditions even as they prepare to handover Political power in January 2025. His Excellency JOHN MAHAMA will make living conditions better from January 2025 as President by implementing: His game-changing 24 Hour Economy policy to create more decent jobs for our teeming unemployed youth, Free Primary Healthcare to make healthcare delivery accessible and affordable at the basic levels of society, the Big Push Agenda to improve the Nation’s industrialization drive, cancellation of Ex-gratia and payment of social services ( fuel, TV subscriptions, etc) for Government Officials to reduce government expenditure, thereby saving the Nation millions of cedis; among other life-changing policies. I believe every Ghanaian deserves a better living condition, and JOHN MAHAMA and the NDC will work towards that when voted into office in the 2024 General Elections. God bless our homeland Ghana and the NDC

Fights Over UGSRC Appointment By Political God-Fathers Unnecessary

The current fights in the UGSRC appointment are unwarranted and of no merit as p,olitical God-Fathers in TESCON tzurn to backbite one another and lobby for the positions for their young boys. It has been made known that an immediate past TESCON President and once SRC President are at loggerheads as to who gets what. The Vice president of the UGSRC is seen more often than the UGSRC President on Campus. Students argued that the Vice President deferred his course twice to become the SRC president and had been a resident student of Vandal and Viking. It is rather unfortunate that the SRC could not plead with management to tamper justice with mercy or rescind their decision on CommonWealth and Mensah Sarbah brouhaha with management. The President is a Medical student and does not have ample time to steer affairs and his college they believe is far distant from the center of administration. The major concern raised by students is how appointing students to serve on various committees has bee...

Stephanie Naadu's 100 Days In Office Is A Failure

Ag. University of Ghana Students' Representative Council Presid8ent, Stephanie Naadu's appointment is more of a ceremonial orientation than an administrative orientation. She was elected by the student populace as a general secretary to take records of the UGSRC and write minutes among other things. However, owing to the impasse between the two substantive UGSRC presidential candidates at the Court of Appeal, she was appointed by the school management to spearhead, supervise and steer the affairs of students within the Union Building. It is quite unfortunate for the declared winner and plaintiff, Prince Asumadu who sought redress at the Accra High Court to be sworn in as the duly elected president, which went in his favour. The respondent, the previous Chief Justice had sought for appeal at the Court of Appeal to overturn the ruling of the high court to install Samuel Amos Ofosu as the validly elected president. Stephanie Naadu has been fortunate and she needs to take advantage...

UGSRC:Vetting Results Not True Reflections of Candidates

In the late hours of Saturday,27th August 2022 at 11.30pm vetting of UGSRC hopefuls were vetted. Vetting of candidates commenced from the treasurer portforlio through to Secretary to the presidential. Edward was the First candidate to pass through the vetting followed by Michael Kuti a.k.a IMF. Then proceeded to the general secretary portfolio with Emmanuella Boakyewa with much precision, Vida Minta with over confidence, Ernestona Mahama walked in gorgeously and modestly with much enthusiasm. Diana Ohene Berma storming in with a music Box playing Diana ooo Diana ooo who sat for barely 10 mins less than her contenders. Beauty who was supposed to have been the last, we were told had written to the vetting panel to recuse herself from the vetting. The presidential race saw Noah and Ambrose being first on the list, then Lincoln and Boakye, followed by Ackom and Ramzy, proceded by Curtis and Linda, and ended with Graham and Paa Kwesi. The results should have witnessed Ackom - Ramzy and Noah-...
