UNIVERSITY OF GHANA PARLIAMENT HOUSE (UGPH) RENAISSANCE POLICIES The policies are basically classified under two universal sets, under each of which has some subsets. Democracy from below 1. REBRANDING OF UGPH •Activate its social media handles and involve other media houses. •Design and Printing of UGPH Cloths/ Lacoste • Preparation of Tags for Honourable Members. 2. FUNCTIONALITES OF UGPH • Setting up strong committees. Organizing conferences and getting dignitaries involved [Tantam- ount to Article 5, Clause 2]. News HUB for UGPH and Release of Pressers on matters concerning the running of the house. Appeal for scholarship, internship and NSS for Members. Embarking on Outreach Programs [Tantamount Acticle 5, clause 3 of UGPH Constitution]. • Regular Sittings Business Committee would be given timelines to prevent late or delay of motions. HON. The NUGS president, Dennis Appiah Larbi has been acknowledged and respected by Aki-Ola Aziz, the first Special of the University of Ghana concerning his swift and divine intervention in dealing with matters of student concern. His courage in targetting the reduction in fees of students and the quest for accommodation for students. Dennis, irrespective of his political affiliation has been able to confront key personalities who have a say in the administration of the NPP, yet meet the key stakeholders, the likes of the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum. He is among the few student leaders who think about the interests and welfare of students.
