The recent publication by the University of Ghana Management about the transfer of Male continuing students of the two noble traditional halls; Mensh Sarbah and Common Wealth Halls from their legal accommodations or beds is an experiment on the fresh administration of the University of Ghana Students' Representative Council. It is, however, imperative for the UGSRC to petition management to intercede on behalf of the affected male students of Mensah Sarbah and Commonwealth halls to stop this unfair treatment which is casting a doubt on their rights if indeed the Boakye-Lincoln led governance is for the interest of students, but not, the purported selfie government of the University of Ghana 🇬🇭 student leadership Aki Ola Aziz, former Special Envoy to the Office of the 64th SRC President is making a clarion call for Boakye -Lincoln administration to intervene on behalf of students to remedy this situation and champion the interest of the general student population. source: Whistle Blower 360

The 24 Hour Economy Proposed by Mahama; NPP's Headache

The much talk-about proposed policy initiative, the 24 hour economy is the order of the day, and it looks as if is a headache for the rulling New Patriotic party and governemnt. Fights Over UGSRC Appointment By Political God-Fathers Unnecessary

The current fights in the UGSRC appointment are unwarranted and of no merit as p,olitical God-Fathers in TESCON tzurn to backbite one another and lobby for the positions for their young boys. It has been made known that an immediate past TESCON President and once SRC President are at loggerheads as to who gets what. The Vice president of the UGSRC is seen more often than the UGSRC President on Campus. Students argued that the Vice President deferred his course twice to become the SRC president and had been a resident student of Vandal and Viking. This year's UGSRC Treasurer position is the face of the UGSRC elections. The postion is keenly contested by Edward Owusu Boateng popularly known as Gadaffi and Michael Kuti famously called IMF. Yabr3 Mo Demonstration, Concerned Students of the University of Ghana agitate for hostels

The Concerned students of the University of Ghana 🇬🇭 have launched a demonstration dubbed Yabr3 Mo Demo also known as Mask Up Demo is taking place at the outskirt of the Premier University. Prominent student leaders and politicians have thrown their support behind the students under question who have fallen a victim to the inadequacy or sufficiency of halls of residents or hostels to stay in. The current happenings of Commonwealth hall & Mensah Sarbah hall have added salt to the injury making it extremely for students especially continuous studwnts to obtain a bed to lay their heads. UGSRC:Vetting Results Not True Reflections of Candidates

In the late hours of Saturday,27th August 2022 at 11.30pm vetting of UGSRC hopefuls were vetted. Vetting of candidates commenced from the treasurer portforlio through to Secretary to the presidential. Edward was the First candidate to pass through the vetting followed by Michael Kuti a.k.a IMF. Then proceeded to the general secretary portfolio with Emmanuella Boakyewa with much precision, Vida Minta with over confidence, Ernestona Mahama walked in gorgeously and modestly with much enthusiasm. Diana Ohene Berma storming in with a music Box playing Diana ooo Diana ooo who sat for barely 10 mins less than her contenders. Beauty who was supposed to have been the last, we were told had written to the vetting panel to recuse herself from the vetting.
