SAMUEL ACKOM COMMEMORATES BIRTHDAY.

Presidential hopeful for UGSRC celebrates his birthday today. Samuel Ackom is an indefatigable personnality and one of the topmost students on campus. He is a proud member of the University of Ghana Parliament House and the POSSA Parliament. He is prominent figure in the UGSRC, the 64th Administration led by the Asumadu-Ndukwe. 


He is the Deputy Public Relations Officer of the UG-SRC. He is currently Pursuing Political Science and Linguistics at the Premier University. 


Samuel  Ackom is contesting for the pisition of SRC President, and he is aspiring to be the 65th SRC Ptesident of the Premier University, University of Ghana, Legon. He is also part of the Minority leadership of the POSSA Parliament and UGPH Parliament, and a Member of the SRC General Assembly(UGSRC Parliament).

Dissolve-Seven-Member-Committee; It Is Unconstitutional ~ Students Of The Premier University Tell Dean Of Student Affairs

Students of the Nation's Premier University, University of Ghana are calling for the immediate dissolution of the~7~member~committee established by the Dean of Students Affairs, Professor Godfred Alufa Bokpin, of which they believe its emergence is in contravention with the constitution of the Students' Representative Council. According to them, the dean has no audacity to establish the committee. The four elected bodies of the SRC; the President and his Vice, the Secretary and the Treasure had petitioned the office of Pro-Vice-Chancellor and copied the office of the Vice-Chancellor to summon and order the dean to dissolve the said committee which is of no legal effect and in conflict with the SRC's constitution. It is on the grounds of article 31 of the SRC constitution that the students are calling for the quashing of the committee. Article 31. Breaking the Eight History, Data And Science do not support it.

The recent contemplation by the leadership of the ruling New Patriotic Party has challenged themselves to break the eight years agenda of which facts, data, figures and statistics doesn't augment. The President in an address with his party faithfuls during the aniversary of the party he runned on its ticket, had assured party supporters the NPP will break the eight years record which had ensured between the major opposition party the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party.  So far leadership of the two main parties had expressed their take on the matter.
