In the late hours of Saturday,27th August 2022 at 11.30pm vetting of UGSRC hopefuls were vetted. Vetting of candidates commenced from the treasurer portforlio through to Secretary to the presidential. Edward was the First candidate to pass through the vetting followed by Michael Kuti a.k.a IMF. Then proceeded to the general secretary portfolio with Emmanuella Boakyewa with much precision, Vida Minta with over confidence, Ernestona Mahama walked in gorgeously and modestly with much enthusiasm. Diana Ohene Berma storming in with a music Box playing Diana ooo Diana ooo who sat for barely 10 mins less than her contenders. Beauty who was supposed to have been the last, we were told had written to the vetting panel to recuse herself from the vetting. The presidential race saw Noah and Ambrose being first on the list,then Lincoln and Boakye,followed by Ackom and Ramzy, proceded by Curtis and Linda, and ended with Graham and Paa Kwesi. On behalf of the UGSRC, there will be a security conference on the theme "The Emerging Terrorism Alerts in the Subsaharan Africa, The role of the University student. The event will commence within a timely hours of 8:00 AM today, Friday 26th August, 2022. The SRC is inviting all members of the un9versity to attend this programme.

The Vice Chancellor of the Premier University in the nation has fulfilled her promise of the 1Student 1Laptop policy popularly known as the 1L1S Policy, as part of her wish to provide students who cannot afford one or are unable to purchase one for their studies. The VC had vowed in the previous year to fulfil this promise. Today marks the commencement of the project, and hundreds of laptops will be distributed to students who had demonstrated that they need that electronic gadget for academic and research purposes Students, with the inclusion of awardees, will assemble at the Cedi Conference today, Thursday,25th August 2022 for the occasion10:00AM. All students are invited.
